I'm guessing you're looking for a good hypnotherapist because you've either tried everything else already and/or you like how easy it all sounds - just sitting relaxed in a chair while someone else sorts out the problem for you (not quite the whole story but see the hypnotherapy page for more info).
Maybe you know someone who's tried it and had success, or read about the many celebrities who've used it on the quiet?
So, does it work?
The answer is yes, hypnotherapy can be a very powerful tool if you choose it to be. There are many, many people out there who are living with fewer worries, or smoke-free, happier lives because they've chosen hypnotherapy to help them. It isn't a magic wand, though, and it isn't the right approach for everyone - it involves effort on the client's part and suitability in temperament and personality. There can be no guarantee of success either.
However, hypnotherapy isn't the only way of using the power of your mind to achieve the change you want easily. For many people, other mind-focused approaches, such as cognitive training, work equally well and are often more long-lasting. My aim is to find the right approach for you.
Come and have a chat - I want to hear about what's been happening to put you in your current position but I also want to be able to introduce you to a completely different way of looking at yourself and open up the possibilities for a new outcome too.

Please be aware that hypnotherapy is not a magic wand and requires motivation and a degree of willpower from the client. The process will be fully explained to you during any initial consultation.
