About Me
I
am a fully qualified hypnotherapist having achieved a Diploma
in Hypnotherapy and membership of the International Association
of Hypnoanalysts, a highly regarded organisation which has
been in existence for over 20 years. I am now working towards
my advanced Diploma.
Arriving here has been a huge personal
journey for me. Little did I know when I began my training
that it would have such a huge impact on my life.
Undertaking my own therapy and learning
about the Changing Limiting Beliefs program has given me more
'lightbulb moments' than I can recall.
I've finally come to understand how and
why I tick and that "no, there isn't anything wrong with
me!". Too many of us go through life blaming ourselves
for being who we are and feeling powerless to change. That's
changed for me now and it can change for you too.
Helping clients in the best way possible
is important to me, so as a member of the IAPH I adhere to
a strict code of ethics in my practice designed to safeguard
confidentiality and the highest standards of care.
My work is closely supervised and I am
involved in continuous professional training to enhance my
practice with new skills and ideas.
I have a wide range of skills to bring
to my role as hypnotherapist acquired from my time working
as a journalist, meeting new people every day, learning to
listen to what they had to say and putting them at their ease.
Later in my life I specialised in garden
design but found myself, more often than not, becoming someone
my clients soon felt comfortable enough with to discuss much
more than their plants! At this point I felt my listening
and caring skills could be better used to help people directly.
I love my job because there is nothing
so inspiring as being with a person who is prepared to do
something about making life better for themselves, and every
client I see is doing just that.
